Welcome. I’m McKenna.
I’m currently a Strategy Director at Instrument, a new mom, and a mindfulness guide living in Portland, Oregon.
My brand expertise is in design strategy, film, narrative programing, and building ecosystems.
My mindfulness teachings are centered in embodiment practices like meditation, yoga, and community circles.
Now, a longer version:
Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to learn from some of the best in the business and partner with incredible brands along the way.
I’ve worked with a place that makes sneakers. I’ve worked with people that make movies and shows, and the place that makes screens to watch them on. I’ve worked with a few places that make alcohol, and a few places that make snacks. I’ve worked with a place that makes energy drinks.
I didn’t sleep much during that one.
I’ve reported on Congress in DC (wore a lot of suits), wellness in LA (ate a lot of nut cheese), and ski life in Idaho (tore my MCL).
Once, my friends and I wrote a book which became an award-winning show, which was pretty fun too.
I’ve led meditations in studios and stores, on zoom calls, in conference rooms, and in big grassy fields. I’ve studied yoga in Portugal, New York, Colorado, Oregon, and California. My second favorite thing to do is guide group meditation.
My first is being with my family.
